Abraham left home by faith. Sometimes he won, lost, stumbled, laughed, or battled. He always wandered, always waited, and sometimes wondered. He did it all by faith. "For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God" (Hebrews 11:10). Join us in our new series Pioneer as we learn to walk by faith in our journey toward the city of God.
Pastor Joe begins this new series with a message titled “What Does It Mean to Walk with God”. The sermon text is Genesis 11:27 - 12:9. Sunday evening we will continue the study of 2 Peter. “Change for Hope” The Pregnancy Resource Center Baby Bottle Fund Raiser is now in progress. Pick up a baby bottle and fill it with change (or a check) and return it to the church by February 15.
Church members, please attend our Annual Business meeting Wednesday, February 1 at 7:00 PM. Important business will be discussed, and Annual Reports being given.

Monday, January 23 we will be providing Free Lunch Monday for the Winchester High School. We are thankful to have the opportunity to provide this ministry to the 100+ students who attend.

Postponement
Due to illness in the church family, the church leadership has decided to postpone the Annual Business Meeting scheduled for tonight to next month. The Fellowship Meal will still be held as scheduled. Please spread the word!
Announcements, Jan. 1, 2023 Happy New Year
This New Year we will resume the study of Paul’s letters to the Philippians. Today’s message is based on Philippians 3: 17 - 4: 1 and is titled “What Difference Does Treasuring Christ Make?” We will observe The Lord’s Supper at the end of the service. There will be no evening worship service.
This will be a busy week at MBC, starting with Deacons Meeting at 7PM on Monday, January 2. On Wednesday, Jan. 4, we will enjoy a Fellowship Potluck meal at 6:30 PM followed by our Annual Business meeting at 7:30 PM. The ladies will have Food, Fun and Fellowship on Thursday, Jan. 5 starting at 6:30 PM. Bring a friend and join us for Ladies Night Out!
