There will be no Evening Service.

Sunday School at 9:30 AM followed by Worship Service at 10:30 AM. We will observe The Lord’s Supper during the worship service. There will be no evening service.

This Sunday at 10:30 AM, Pastor Joe will speak on “What Makes a ‘Hall of Fame’ Life?” His text is Philippians 2: 19 - 30. At 6 PM we will continue with the study of 1 Peter. At Wednesday Evening Bible Study we are taking an in depth look at the book of 1 Peter. We start at 6:30 PM. We hope you can join us for some of these activities!

This Sunday we are happy to have Guest Speaker Daniel Myers and his wife April with us again. They helped us through the time we were without a pastor during COVID so we are happy to see them again! They will be here for both the morning (10:30 AM) and evening (6:00 PM) services

Operation Christmas Child
We have less than a month to prepare our Operation Christmas Child boxes. If you would like to make a cash donation so we can buy items to put in the boxes, you may mark checks, payable to Manchester Baptist, with OCC or give your donation to Harriett or Andrea.
You may also shop for items and bring them in or pick up a box to fill yourself. We and the children appreciate your help!

The men who signed up for the fish fry in Carrollton are to meet at the church at 5:15 PM on Saturday evening September 24 so we can carpool.
It is time to start packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We will throw a Christmas party to pack boxes downstairs in the Children’s Department during the Sunday School hour on November 6. Boxes are available if you want to pack your own box. Shipping for each box is $10.00. If you would rather donate items or cash, you may do that at any time. The bulletin insert gives some ideas of items to include in the boxes.

Our New Sunday Morning Series!

This fall, we're going to hear what God has to say to us in the letter to the Philippians. Philippians isn't about one problem or issue. It's a letter to a beloved group of Christians, for a family. Like a letter to a loved one, it's got a little of everything. Something for every day.”
This Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:30 AM will be based on Philippians 1: 1 - 2. The title of Pastor Joe’s message is “What Transforms God’s People?”
Remember, A preschool class is available for children, ages one through four, during the worship service.
Sunday evening at 6:00 PM we will pray for our community and then continue our study of 1 Peter.

Sunday evening we will pray for the following missionaries we support: the Cooley’s, Living Alternatives (Pregnancy Resource Center), Wes Tabor and the Peterson’s. We will then continue our study of 1 Peter.
Monday afternoon at 2:15 we will pass out gift bags to the children as they get off the school bus. Anyone who wants to help is welcome.
